Service Items

The Service Items Settings section in the Salonly Plugin allows you to define detailed, customizable services offered under each service type — for example, “Men’s Cut” under the “Hair” category.
You can configure pricing, duration, description, and conditional display rules for each item.

⚙️ General Settings

These options define how the Service Items section is displayed and functions in the booking form.

Options:

• Disable Section
  Toggle ON/OFF to enable or disable the entire “Service Items” section on the booking form.
  • ON: Section is active.
  • OFF: Section is hidden.
• Title
  Enter the section title displayed in the booking form.
  Example: Services Menu, Our Services, Select a Treatment. Avoid using special characters such as (&).
• Sub Title
  Add a short subtitle below the main title to guide customers.
  Example: Select service items below.
• Tab Title (Multi-step)
  Define the title that appears in the tab when using a multi-step form layout.
  Example: Services Menu or Select Service.
• Required
  Toggle ON/OFF to make service selection mandatory.
  • ON: Users must select at least one service.
  • OFF: Users can skip this step.

💼 Service Item Setup

Each Service Item represents a specific service offered under a service type — for example, “Men’s Cut”, “Beard Trim”, or “Colour”.

You can add multiple items and customize each one individually.

Options per Service Item:

• Always Display / Default Select
  Choose whether this item is always visible and/or selected by default in the form. Useful for essential or default services.
• ID
  Enter a unique identifier for this item (e.g., item_1, haircut_men). Must be unique, and do not use spaces or special characters.
• Regular Price
  Enter the default service price (e.g., 40).
• Sale Price
  Add a discounted price (optional) (e.g., 30).
• Service Image
  Upload or select an image that visually represents this service item. Example: a photo of a haircut, nail design, etc.
• Title
  The name of the specific service item.
  Example: Men’s Cut, Hair Spa, Full Body Massage.
• Details
  Write a short description of the service.
  You can use the <i> HTML tag to highlight important text.
  Example: Use <i>30-minute quick trim</i> for highlight text.
• Discount Label (Optional)
  Add a label to show promotional offers such as 20% OFF, Best Deal, or Limited Time.
• Read More Link
  Add a clickable link that redirects users to a detailed page about this service.
  Example: /services/mens-haircut.
• Duration
  Enter how long this service takes (numeric value).
  Example: 30.
• Duration Type
  Choose the time unit for duration.
  Options include:
  • Minutes
  • Hours
• Conditional Logic (Under Service Types)
  Define display conditions to show this item only when a specific Service Type is selected.
  Example:
  • Show Beard Trim only when Hair is selected as the Service Type.
  • Show Colour only when Make-up is chosen.

🧩 Example Items

You can manage multiple service items such as:

• Men’s Cut
• Beard Trim
• Shave
• Colour

Each can be expanded or collapsed for easy editing.
Click the “+ Add” button to create new items.
