Types

The Service Types Settings section in the Salonly Plugin allows administrators to configure and manage various service categories offered by their salon or business. Each service type can include unique pricing, icons, and display settings for better customization on the booking form.

⚙️ General Settings

These options define how service types are displayed and behave in the booking form.

Options:

• Title
  Enter the main title for this section in the booking form.
  Example: Service Type, Choose a Category, or Select Your Service. Avoid using special characters like (&).
• Sub Title
  Add a short description below the title to guide users.
  Example: Select your service type below. Avoid using special characters.
• Tab Title (Multi-step)
  Set the title that will appear in the tab section if you’re using a multi-step booking form.
  Example: Service Type or Service Category.
• Input Type
  Choose the type of input users will see for service selection.
  Available options include:
  • Select – Dropdown menu for single selection.
  • Checkbox – Multiple selection options.
  • Radio – Single choice buttons.
• Icon Type
  Select how icons will be displayed for each service type.
  Options:
  • Images – Use uploaded images as icons.
  • Icons – Use font or vector icons.
• Required
  Toggle ON/OFF to make this field required during the booking process.
  • ON: Users must select at least one service type.
  • OFF: Users can skip this field.

💼 Service Type Items

In this section, you can define multiple service types (categories) such as Hair, Nail, Beauty, Spa, etc.

Each service type can include detailed options such as ID, price, image, and description.

Options per Service Type:

• Default Select
  Choose one service type as the default option to be preselected for customers.
• ID
  Enter a unique identifier for the service type (e.g., type_1, hair_type, etc.). Must be unique and without spaces or special characters.
• Regular Price
  Enter the standard price for this service type.
  Example: 100.
• Sale Price
  Add a discounted price if applicable.
  Example: 80.
• Title
  Define the display name of the service type.
  Example: Hair, Nail, or Make-up.
• Icon / Image URL
  • Click Add Icon to choose an icon.
  • Or use the Upload button to upload a custom image.
    Example:
    /wp-content/plugins/salonly/assets/icons/hair.png
• Discount Label (Optional)
  Add a custom label to show discounts, e.g., 20% Off or Hot Offer.
• Conditional Logic (Package)
  Define conditions to display this service type based on selected packages.
  Example: Display Spa services only when the Luxury Package is chosen.

🧩 Service Type List

The system allows you to add multiple service categories under one section.
Examples include:

• Nail
• Beauty
• Tanning
• Tattoo
• Cosmetology
• Make-up
• Bridal
• Spa
• Mobile

You can expand or collapse each section to manage individual settings.
Click the “+ Add” button to create new service types as needed.
